Brown fused aluminum oxide also named brown fused alumina .
Brown fused alumina is use a mixture of bauxite as raw material, produced in an electric arc furnace at high temperature. Great toughness and high hardness is its advantage. The abrasive tools made of brown aluminum oxide are suitable for grinding carbon steel, alloy steel, malleable cast iron and hard bronze. It is also widely used for refractory industry.
